GETTING THERE & AWAY
Option 1 (best way): From Hanoi to Haiphong then Catba island
1- Bus Hanoi - Haiphong
Private car or mini bus : USD 90/ one way / group
Local bus from Luong Yen or Gia Lam bus station, every 15 minutes.
Please ask them to drop off at BINH harbour in Haiphong
Price : 70 000 VND/ person (USD/ per 3.5).
2- HaiPhong - Catba by hydrofoil express boat
Ticket : 180 000 VND/ per (USD/per 9)
Catba Island Resort's boat, HoangYen or Mekong boat
Boat available from 8.00, 9.00, 10.00, 13.00,15.00 daily (May be changed, should check again)
3- Catba boat station (center of Catba) - Beo harbour (5 minutes) by mortorbyke or taxi
Cost : about USD 2-3/ group
4- Beo harbour to our resort by boat
Price : USD 15/ group of 2 persons/one way
Price : USD 20/ group of 4 persons/ one way
Price : USD 35/ group of 6 persons/ one way
Entrance fees to LanHa bay is included in the boat price

We offer free pick up service to the resort daily from CatBa Town at 7:45am (meeting point at Holiday View hotel or Beo harbor in CatBa town), and back from the resort at about 04:00 pm (ends at Beo harbor, Catba town). Please contact us (84 91 331 74 74) in advance to book it.
Option 2: From Hanoi to Catba Sandy beach resort (by bus and hydrofoil express boat) takes at least 4 hours.
There are also plenty of slow, chartered tourist boats making the run from Halong City to Cat Ba Island; check with the cafes and travel agencies in Hanoi about tour options. Such trips generally include all transport, accommodation, food and a guide, but double check to be sure.
How to get back from resort to Hanoi
There are 2 options :1- Back via Halong bay then bus Halong bay to Hanoi (best way) : USD 30/per (boat + lunch + bus ). It leaves at 8.00 from the hotel, 12.30 arrive Halong bay, 16.30 arrive Hanoi.
2- Back via Catba then Haiphong, Hanoi.
You should leave resort for Beo habour, take a taxi to Catba center and take a express boat (12.00,14.30,16.00), arrive Haiphong 45 minutes after, then take local bus to Hanoi (about 2.5 hours)
Cost about : USD 30/per (bus + boat only)
Please be ready at the Beo harbour (Catba) before 5 pm. Otherwise, you may miss the boat from there to our hotel.

ACTIVITIES
In the resort you can (Promotion price in the low season):
- Do kayaking (free).(up to 4 hours )
- Go fishing (USD 20/ by boat and fishing rod) - 3 hours.
- Go Viet Hai village, cycling there (USD 20/ by boat), free byke to ride. (3-6 hours)
- Private Boat trip to visit Halong Bay (Sungsot cave, Vangia floating village) - USD 45/ per (mininum 2 persons) (6-8 hours) (Includes : private boat, entrance fees, Lunch).
